OUR SERVICES Dowell & Dowell is a full-service Intellectual Property law firm with services including application drafting, prosecuting patent and trademark applications, assisting foreign counsel with filing and prosecuting applications before the United States Patent & Trademark Office (USPTO), and patent litigation in the federal courts involving design and utility patents.  Additionally, our team of experts conducts novelty, infringement and validity searches on a regular basis using the EAST computer system located in the Public Search Facility at the USPTO. Due to our location relative to the USPTO, we also conduct personal interviews with patent examiners in order to expedite the prosecution of applications pending in the Office.
